New Server for Vision of Earth

Due to some server troubles, we were down for several days earlier in the month. Our webmaster took this opportunity to look into our hosting options. The new solution that he has implemented is a virtual machine hosted on servers directly connected to an Internet backbone in Freemont, California.

It is our expectation that this server will provide faster access to the site. Speed was an issue in the past, so we are hoping that this will address it. If there are any issues with the site, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are also working on new promotional efforts for Vision of Earth. One of these involved listing ourselves at Blog Top Sites. Another effort involves trying to get listed at Best Green Blogs.
